Rong Yue is a singer and educator based in New York City. She obtains a Bachelor of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music, and a Master of Music degree from New York University. Rong is currently pursuing a Master of Education degree at Teachers College, Columbia University. Besides being a professional in classical voice, Rong is also skillful in piano and web design.

At the age of 15, Rong was admitted to Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where she began her professional vocal training. In her vocal performance journey, she has won several awards from vocal competitions. She also has experience in both ensemble and choir performance settings. Rong has performed at various concert venues, including Lincoln Center, Shanghai Concert Hall, etc.

During Rong’s undergraduate studies at Manhattan School of Music, She found her passion in the influence of music on human’s behavior, development and psychology. She learned that music does not only entertain but can also be helpful for mental health. Rong has interned at several disability organizations in Shanghai. As a young educator, Rong has years of experience in teaching private voice lessons and music theory classes for students of all ages and levels.
